Heads up! We have added a modlog publishing bot to the moderator list!
Transparency is the name of this whole game and it's time to bring as much as possible to our community moderation. So we have added u/modlogs to the moderator list, which will publish our community modlogs with no restrictions or exceptions. For those curious how it works, here is the github link with more detail. I'm admittedly not a coding wizard but thankfully we have awesome wrinkle brains on the mod team! It's my understanding that this information will live in our subreddit wiki (also a work in progress!)
- Hello all and welcome to Transparent Markets! Looking forward to seeing this community to grow!

hate to say it, but mods need to follow GameStop SMRT team’s lead, like yesterday: please start signing your mod post removals — there is absolutely ZERO denying that anon mod removals DECREASE sub accountability, and there is no more important place for accountability that RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW
Luckily, transparency could be easy: https://github.com/vitosamson/modlogs/blob/master/ModeratorInstructions.md

Would anyone be willing to help code a script to make our modlogs public?
We wouldn’t need a fancy web-interface like u/modlogs used. It might just be something which could pull from u/ufobot’s ‘moderator log’ RSS feed and post it wherever is easiest.

Can we talk about the moderation here for a moment?
I'm not sure where to best post this in the thread, but I wanted to point towards https://modlogs.fyi/, a tool that can be used to log moderator activity if the mods want. Interested people could then check it and it wouldn't be directly on reddit so if you don't want it to be too public, it doesn't have to be. As for boorus, I personally think they should all be allowed to source content because unfortunately some content is only available on some of them. Ultimately they are content repositories. Maybe encourage only using them if that booru is the only source?
