How can I use this old tab (SM-T560) as a secondary monitor using a USB cable.
I got this tab from my grandfather since he didn't have any use for it. It has 1.5 gb ram and runs Android 4.4. The only use I can think of is to use it as a secondary monitor for my laptop. I tried this method (https://github.com/santiagofdezg/linux-extend-screen). This method did work, but it is extremely laggy and unresponsive. The video shows this running on 24 fps. I think that if I can connect it by USB instead of remote desktop, this setup might be usable, but Idk how to do it since the tab runs Android 4.4. I use zorin OS and my laptop is ThinkPad x1 yoga 1st Gen. If I can't set it up as a secondary monitor, I'll try installing Linux on it as I can't think of anything else.
