SDDM and the lock screen are driving me crazy !!
I've ended up customizing https://github.com/IsoaSFlus/kde-stuffs/tree/master/Adagio and enabled auto login + locking the screen immediately on boot. Well this is the workaround I was able to get and everything is consistent and customized to my liking.
