explorer reviews and mentions
- Update: My IOTA has been taken again since my last post but I'm noticing they're only being taken while staking. I've held IOTA for years and they were never touched. However, the two times I stake and they disappear immediately. Can a dev shed some light on this? Is there a staking vulnerability?

Can't find my wallet in thetangle.org or Iota Explorer
I made my wallet with Firefly so I could participate in the staking for Assembly and Shimmer. But when I copy and paste the wallet address from that Firefly wallet into thetangle.org, it says there are no results for it. Similarly if I go to explorer.iota.org, it brings up a wallet, but it says that the balance is zero. I should have about 98.89 Mi. Does anyone have any idea why I can't look it up on these explorers? It's inconvenient because my Koinly thinks I have a balance of 0 in that wallet.

For the truly paranoid: Guide for IOTA cold storage
Although this gives you some insurance that everything worked correctly, you can never check the "final" address without defeating the purpose of cold storage. Using https://explorer.iota.org/ is not sufficient, because we are not doubting that the IOTA has reached the address, but we are doubting that our saved key belongs to said address.
