Kubernetes: How to Persistent Storage
Instead of kube spray, check out https://github.com/vitobotta/hetzner-k3s - it’s the easiest and fastest way to create clusters in Hetzner cloud (I’m the author)

Anyone setup their own kubernetes cluster especially for their own SAAS ?
I built a tool that is the easiest and quickest way to create a cluster in Hetzner cloud. Check it out https://github.com/vitobotta/hetzner-k3s
There are a few already made solutions e.g. https://github.com/vitobotta/hetzner-k3s or https://github.com/kube-hetzner/terraform-hcloud-kube-hetzner that you can reference from.

Cheapest public managed Kubernetes cluster?
You don’t have to manage Kubernetes yourself. In Hetzner Cloud you can use this tool to make your life easier while saving money https://github.com/vitobotta/hetzner-k3s (I’m the developer)

I rewrote my tool to create clusters in Hetzner in Crystal
Hi all, I just released a new version of https://github.com/vitobotta/hetzner-k3s that is a complete rewrite in Crystal that is faster, better overall and allows me to offer simple standalone executables. The previous version was written in Ruby, so users had to either set up a Ruby environment, or use a Docker image instead. This is no longer necessary.

If you somehow use hetzner, this one is great too for k3s

Hetzner-k3s v0.5.4 is out with support for multi zonal Kubernetes clusters
For any Hetzner Cloud customers who may be interested: I have released v0.5.4 of a tool I created [1] to manage Kubernetes clusters in Hetzner Cloud. This release adds support for multi zonal clusters for higher availability as well as the ability to specify extra args for each Kubernetes component, so that you can enable feature flags and things like that.
For those not familiar with this tool: it's a tool to quickly create production clusters in Hetzner Cloud using k3s, so creating a cluster takes only a couple of minutes or less.
For those not familiar with Hetzner: it's a German provider that offers an awesome service, servers with great performance and reliability for a fraction of the price the other providers charge. If you mostly need compute and not the many services the bigger providers offer, you can save quite a bit of money with this provider. They have 2 locations in Europe (in Germany and one in Finland) as well as one location in the US (Ashburn, Virginia).
Looking for feedback and suggestions of features I could add. Thanks!

Is it correct to use Kubernetes in my case?
You can give a try with a managed kubernetes cluster. There are some budget options. I am using civo to play around and side projects and is the cheapest i have found . Other budget options are vultr , digitalocean and also this to build a k3s and manage it your self in hetzner https://github.com/vitobotta/hetzner-k3s

Install a Kubernetes cluster on Hetzner in 5 minutes (7X cheaper than AWS)
Having an out-of-the-box Kubernetes installation can be a big hassle, and I couldn't find a good step-by-step tutorial to set it up until I discovered this open-source project by u/Vitobotta.
