Yes, you are absolutely right. Encrypting the high score post request doesn't really solve the problem but at least makes it a bit harder to hack your own high score via a simple API request. Because before I implemented the encryption logic, you could just send your own high score via Postman. (You can still do that, but you can't send a higher high score than you scored without getting the secret) https://github.com/bennodev19/dronies-watch/blob/master/server/src/middleware/crypto/index.ts Feel free to give me some advice on how to deal with such a problem.
