  • how many hours have you spent coding and what's the most complicated/interesting project you've built?

If anyone wants a look and has a Windows 64-bit machine, you can download the high-level superuser version that lets you make your own grammar plugins and everything here. If, when you first run it, it doesn't start off with the manual open (which is one of the things I need to fix, it's an intermittent bug, the worst kind of bug) go to the file menu and open the file called Peach for wizards. The other files are demos, often very small just to show off one feature: the one for teaching Turgan is the biggest.

I wrote Peach, a program that lets you homebrew your own Duolingo. It's still in beta, it's still got a coupla tiny kinks in it. Have a look at the Turgan.vcb file for my Khuzdul-Gothic creole.

If you want to get your hands on eSpeak's goodies, then you'll have to download a new version, since my autoupdater just isn't powerful enough to add a whole auxiliary program to the distribution, sorry. Should have anticipated this one.

Here's Turgan, a creole of Gothic and Khuzdul. I knocked it up over a couple of frantic weekends to prove that I could (it was for a speedlang thing) but there was some thought put into it. In fact there's more thought than the text explains, I don't go into all the derivations and reasons why it ended up like that, but I could if you like.
