In response to the above problem, instead of fixing it, they just removed the respective documentation. Big red flags

We have the hard fork combinator which makes hard forking quite easy. It eliminates the necessity of a switchover block.

  • Cardano is now heading towards a highly anticipated hard fork named Alonzo that will enable developers to finally be able to build smart contracts on Cardano. | 2021-05-22
It may be Hard Fork but shouldn't be noticeable to anyone holding ADA because of the Hard Fork Combinator that they use for these upgrades.
  • Suggestions for a learning path
I suggest you to take a look at, it's a good starting point.
  • Quick questions around stake pools
supposedly yes, the reward calculation is complicated but from my personal experience it doesn't matter so much, I was delegating to large pools in the past with over 1M in pledge and was getting lower rewards for my ~400ADA wallet than I do now with our tiny pool (ofc. not counting the pool reward, that goes to different wallet anyway)
  • I think Cardano is not what everyone think it is.... and you should be careful where you put your money in.
they just erased what's not working... this is even fishier man.
