Someone made a role that does what you are looking for with Powerconnect switches using the expect module. I've been using the role to configure switches in my homelab, and it works well enough (the main downside is it has no way to tell if a configuration has been modified or not; the role is not idempotent). I think this role can be adapted to work with other switch CLIs by changing the prompt/response regexes to match what your switch CLI uses.
