Questions about frames
I (and I believe most folks) just use the web version: compcon.app First thing, click "log in" in the bottom right corner.

New player looking for some input, please.
Have we mentioned compcon.app, as we are contractually obliged to do for every new Lancer player? Try CompCon.app. It's free! It builds pilots and mechs! It can have stuff added to it from official and third-party publishers! Why are you still here? Check out CompCon.app!

Running my first Lancer Game
Though ideally since the boxes for weapons and systems are stretched as needed, you'd want to either photoshop the above image, or join a roll20 session that somebody is hosting, copy-paste all the powers for one of the compcon.app premade LL0 character templates, screenshot it, and print it. Repeat for each template.

Just a comparison of everything you need to crossreference to run a MummyLord in each of the past 3 editions
Also, the idea that 'most other TTRPGs' would do that is ridiculous... for the simple matter that most other RPGs are labours of love that barely (if at all) make their money back. Lancer has compcon.app and Pathfinder2e has Pathbuilder and the SRD on AoN, but other than the biggest in the biz few others will have an app.

Physical Game Series and or suggestions?
One thing (besides a printed out battlemap or a dry erase map) I don't think you can do without is every player having a tablet or laptop available at the table. Reason for this is the compcon.app companion is just so much better than the paper character sheets that come with the full book purchase. If you really have to, the free character sheet templates that come with the app.roll20.net module are far better.

Is there a character builder for this RPG?
Yeah, CompCon https://compcon.app/

What to know as a new GM
-use compcon.app for character management and "initiative tracking". The game comes with paper sheets but they are terrible in comparison to compcon. If you really have to use paper, there's better paper-like sheets that can be found for free on roll20. Practice importing a character using 2 devices (laptop+phone) with 2 accounts on compcon.app to learn where all the UI buttons are (it was unintuitive for me and we wasted 10 minutes of session time on this)

Best online rpg documentation?
Outside of specialized apps like D&D Beyond and Lancer's https://compcon.app it seems like everything is just PDF's or aesthetically firmly in early 2000's, like https://www.d20pfsrd.com.

Any First Time GM Tips?
Has anyone said use compcon.app? You should use compcon.app

One Mans Everest Is Another Mans Gundam Ground Type
Go to https://compcon.app/ It's the digital companion app everyone uses. It's like DnD Beyond, except free, open source, community drive, and better in most ways.
