How to get multiple IPv6 delegations on AT&T fiber by using VRRP as a hack
I'm sure it was possible on previous gateways, because bridging was also possible on previous gateways. But it is not possible on the current generation BGW210 and BGW320 gateways, nor was it possible on the previous generation 5268AC. I think you have to go all the way back to gateways they were handing out without U-Verse TV capabilities to get one where this would work. This is a forum thread from 2018 with essentially this problem, so it has been the status quo for some time that you cannot get the /60 and instead must ask for up to 8 /64s (the other 8 are reserved). There's even a handy pfSense script to do this for you, and it lists all of the gateways that require the hack.
