Actions Per Minute is of the least importance
2 - Gradually get to know a civilization (1 star difficulty recommended) and over time you will learn the others. Apply an initial opening for a while with only that civilization (aoe4guides.com) until you feel better to change. It is also good to have at hand later the bonuses, units, buildings, etc... (aoe4world.com or the tree of technologies of the game) of other civs you are going to face. With practice and without haste.

Create and consume build orders easily with Age IV Coach
Importing a BO from any game (like what is available on aoe4world.com) is indeed limited by the fact that you cannot get the villagers allocation and action, and mainly receive lines telling you to build villagers (which is not very useful given that you always produce vils at the beginning). Therefore, I preferred collaborating with the owners of aoe4guides.com and age4builder.com to export any hand-made BO in correct format for RTS/AoE4 Overlay.
