Update on my clay printer extruder upgrade. 4 bubbles came down the line. Normally one of those would have destroyed the print. I think that I'm satisfied with the results. there's still some tuning that is needed. WIP
Eazao just announced their corexy in Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cerambot/matrix-the-ultimate-materials-3dprinter-let-your-print-big. I think that you're correct that a bed slinger is not the best option. I have also wondered if the ExoSlide style of printer (https://www.exoslide.com/exocube-printer) would not be a cheap frame than trying to reconfigure a Voron 2.4. Hell, you could print all the parts yourself like the V-King (https://github.com/RoyBerntsenDesign/V-King-CoreXY). These designs keeps the bed stationary. I believe that would be optimal because of the overall potential weight of the clay on the z axis if you want to print a large item.
