No Audio in new Fedora 37 install.
I have installed Fedora 37 on my RCA W101SA23T1, a pretty rare device so I expected some issues. To my surprise the only things not working are the camera and audio, (I'm not going to use the camera so no need to fix it.) after poking around in Windows Device Manager I found the audio device, an "Intel SST Audio Device WDM" not very descriptive but good enough. After a while searching I discover this thread, it has some great instructions that helped me find which driver I needed (bytcht-nocodec) from this GitHub page, how to install the drivers, and more despite the thread being for Xubuntu 18.04. However even after installing the drivers my sound device still doesn't work. Do I need to configure Pipewire to use the device? Should I switch to Pulseaudio? Is there a simple command to install the driver I need that I have overlooked?

Just installed Deb11 MultiArch on my RCA Cambio, a bay trail 2in1 tablet.
You need UCM files from https://github.com/plbossart/UCM/tree/master/bytcr-rt5640 follow instructions there (notice the bytcr-rt5640 folder - that is what you need) also hdmi might be messing with pulseaudio, so blacklist it (but it might not :P - please test it for your device) echo 'blacklist snd_hdmi_lpe_audio' >> /etc/modprobe.d/50-block-hdmi-audio.conf

Yet another no sound post
The user case management profile for your onboard sound card is missing, you can download the suitable folder (chtmax98090) from here and copy it into /usr/share/alsa/ucm/

Chromebook with Debian 10/SparkyLinux not playing sound
There's this Github repo which SHOULD have the relevant files for your soundcard. Which ones you would need exactly? I'm not sure...
