    From what I understand, for the detection of custom fonts you need to train tesseract on your own character sets (you might find this useful). As for the pipeline, you want to straighten your images (using a deskew algorithm) then get your black characters on a white background, detect them with tesseract, and then use pattern matching to detect the Number of the Beast. There are some other approaches as well, but I think this one seems reasonable.
