IBM didn't want Microsoft to use the Tab key to move between dialog fields
> Like, does he hit space N times?
Like the girl in Silicon Valley [1]. I thought it was a bit funny that she was just hitting the space key over and over, but around the same time all my hobby programming was in TempleOS and I did the same thing. The indents were only 2 spaces, and the tabs were eight wide.
Actually TempleOS' creator Terry Davis mixed tabs and spaces for the same argument stated in the Silicon Valley video, to save bytes. They're all rendered as spaces on the website but in the actual TempleOS code it's a mix of both. It means the indentation is really wonky on the Github mirrors, compare [2] and [3].

TempleOS Reverse Engineering
This says that Terry didn't release the source code for the kernel or the bootloader. I'm not sure if I'm reading that correctly, since the entirety of TempleOS was built within TempleOS:

Here's the source code for the game (in HolyC of course).

what is the bro cooking
HolyC is recognized by Github, so it's something else. See here: https://github.com/cia-foundation/TempleOS

Terry Davis, an extremely talented programmer who was unfortunately diagnosed with schizophrenia, made an entire operating system in a language he made by himself, then compiled everything to machine code with a compiler he made himself.
You can see all the code on GitHub.

i dont plan to downgrade my OS to 64bit ... the only thing that 64bit is... is NEWER...
Terry was an exceptionally good programmer who just went literally crazy, though. The parts of TempleOS where the sane part of him managed to win out are impressive as hell.
