Opinions on Auto-Crafting?
Auto-crafting is incredibly controversial. In this post though, I would like to specifically focus on "redstone compatible" crafting tables. This means a crafting table can interact with hoppers/droppers, comparators, and general redstone circuitry in much the same way that furnaces and brewing stand already can. Here is a mod that perfectly showcases this functionality, and has been showcased by MumboJumbo in a recent-ish video. In my opinion, this functionality is perfectly within the bounds of vanilla minecraft, isn't overpowered, and encourages more creativity with redstone circuitry, although I would love to hear your guys' opinion on the topic! (I recommend you search "minecraft auto-crafting" and watch MumboJumbo's video to see what exactly I'm talking about!)
