  • Reminder to withdraw your Nano from exchanges (especially Binance), otherwise the network is less secure and less decentralized than it should be
The two most popular are for mobile, and for desktop
  • What is the best wallet for nano?
I use Nault because it supports my Ledger Nano X.
  • You're all fantastic. 100k member winning prizes sent out, thanks to you all.
A dedicated wallet like Natrium for Android/iOS or for desktop is recommended, but you can also use some multi-asset ones like exodus wallet.
  • Which hardware wallet supports NANO?
Yeah, Ledger live doesn't support it but wallets like do, the original app sucks ass anyways.
  • How can I buy nano for a minor? My daughter is turning 16 and I wanted to start her out with nano as an investment. How do I buy nano and give it to her? Can minors have a wallet? If so where?
Just a heads up, I don't think Nanovault is still running (or if it is, it isn't being supported properly). is the recommended desktop wallet these days
  • Question: Why does Nano store the pass phrase on the app?
Like others have said, once people start having larger amounts of Nano they divide their assets into what can be compared to savings and spending accounts. I have installed on my PC with the Ledger Nano X where I keep 95% of my Nano. This is called cold storage and is extremely secure. Then in Natrium I have a much smaller amount but that I use all the time to top up my tipbot addresses, and send some back and forth with friends (we play a lot of betting games using nano). Welcome to the community!

But if I punch the mnemonic words into something like and it doesn't show up, then it doesn't sound like it is?
Have you tried to import the mnemonic to any other wallets? is a good one:

If you go - and create a quick wallet address, and paste it as a response, I'll send you some Nano to try it. Unfortunately the nano tip bot has been restricted on this subreddit as well..

Ah, gotcha! Well, it only takes ~30 seconds to try it out if you're interested. You can get any Nano wallet like or, and you'll get a Nano address. Then post it here and you can get some free Nano to try it out
Awesome, welcome! If you have 30 seconds to try it out, you can get a Nano cryptocurrency wallet from or, and then you can post your address here to get some free Nano
Download Natrium on ios or android or visit on a desktop. Either way is really quick
First, you need to download a wallet, either Natrium for iOS/Android or on desktop. If you're new to cryptocurrencies, make sure to keep your seed phrase in a private and safe location, it's your private key that gives you control over your account.
If you just want to participate in Senatus' giveaway you only need to download Natrium (mobile) or if you use browser/desktop then visit Nault ( ).
