  • I created a dotnet template for scaffolding NuGet packages

Creating a NuGet package can be a lot more complicated than people like it to be. It is something I have invested significant time and effort into learning. While I'm sure there is still much for me to learn, I like to think I have a pretty decent grasp right now on some of the things that make a NuGet package good. When I'm beginning a new NuGet package, I often refer back to an existing NuGet package that I have made and do some copy/pasting to make sure I specify all of the metadata for the new NuGet package. To make this easier for myself and for the community, I have created a template for use with the dotnet CLI so that you can scaffold a new NuGet package! You can check out how I accomplished this by looking at the source code on GitHub. I have also already published it to nuget.org so it is ready for you to use right now!
