Store the token in a http cookie, so nobody can access it. The jwt will then be sent on each request to the backend, that will verify its integrity. If you want to store data in a more permanent way on the frontend, you might use DeepVault. It's a lib that encrypts your data in indexedDB. It's security through obfuscation so it's not completely secure, but it will mitigate most of automated attacks.
