• How to reliably collect a UNIX system's system calls?

  Hey guys. I am making an AWK interpreter, and as an extension, I wish to collect all the system calls during compile time in a gperf table, with their arguments. As for system calls that call for a struct, I am planning on adding prototypes so users can pass them instead. I will think of something, now, the question is, how to reliably collect a UNIX system's system calls, in a portable manner also? Where does the 'tbl' file usually live on most systems?
