I see a lot of people talking about firewalling in this thread...
Apple owns the whole IP range 17.X.X.X, so you can just put the below line in /etc/pf.conf to block all talk with those IPs
block drop from any to 17.0.0.0/8
Also for an additional layer of protection, you can add these domains to the hosts file:

What I like to do with this is have two versions of hosts file and two versions of /etc/pf.conf
In one setting, I use https://gitlab.com/intr0/AppleBlock/-/blob/master/AppleBlock... in the hosts file and block the whole 17.X.X.X ip range (Apple's range) in the pf.conf
The other setting doesn't have any of these blocks
Whenever I need some apple service (e.g. updates or apple developer stuff), I run a script to toggle the blocks
The benefit of this approach is you get apple services only when you need them

Does anyone use Apple/iOS specific telemetry blocklists?
I was looking at some Apple-specific telemetry blocklists and it seems like the lists are either absurdly-light lists or kill-everything lists.
