  • Symbolics.jl

Symbolic programming for the next generation of numerical software

  • It’s not up to parity with SymPy/Matlab by far yet - here’s the tracking issue on it https://github.com/JuliaSymbolics/Symbolics.jl/issues/59

  • LicenseCheck.jl

Provides some license checking functionality in Julia by wrapping some of the Go library `licencecheck` and supplying some utilities

  • For reference here are two of the local license checking packages I am aware of (the first one is only wrapper though): https://github.com/ericphanson/LicenseCheck.jl https://knbrt.gitlab.io/LicenseGrabber.jl/

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • AbstractDifferentiation.jl

An abstract interface for automatic differentiation.

  • A working common interface for all kinds of differentiation. Like AbstractDifferentiation.jl tries to do, but it is far from finished and seems unmaintained.

  • diataxis-documentation-framework

A systematic approach to creating better documentation.

  • Not a package, but I would love to see some in-depth instructional material for some of the SciML packages that are organized something like the Diataxis documentation framework. In particular the Tutorial/HowTO/Explanation sections seem to be all mishmashed together. I'd work on it but my time is limited by a dissertation I'm trying to write.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
