Such apps that don't give you fine grained control over what to block will be problematic. Assuming rooted Android and that you know what you're doing, use App Manager.
Tracker Control is a good app, but it doesn't have much in the way of fine tuning so you may run in to problems where your options are on or off. If you are looking for something similar but with much more granularity then try RethinkDNS
