  • vim-autoswap

Please Vim, stop with these swap file messages. Just switch to the correct window!

  • https://github.com/gioele/vim-autoswap is different than what I was thinking... I guess I was imagining more of a theme/visual enhancement whereas vim-autoswap plugin provides functionality. It says it opens up file in read-only mode, and I'm not sure I want that though :e appears simple enough in that case so maybe that automatic functionality might be ok.

  • Recover.vim

A Plugin to show a diff, whenever recovering a buffer

  • https://github.com/chrisbra/Recover.vim - oh wow, that provides diff functionality with a [C]ompare option to choose. That helps prevent the "whoops I chose the wrong option" scenario which I hadn't considered when making this post. It's possible that compare screen might make it visually obvious which is which, but the README doesn't have a screenshot of that screen.
