I have happily embraced the plugin "Influx", where finally you can use Obsidian as an outliner where each nested bullet underneath a link, is shown on the links page. This way you never have to open a new note in order to place information in a certain note. You can just write in your daily note, then at a later point when you go to the note you linked to, what you have written is seen in its full form. BUT, Influx doesn't have search and filtering, so being dependent on this method could in the future produce a VERY VERY VERY long list of mentions. Hmm.. So is the best way to use the daily note actually just to keep remembering to do a review (daily or weekly) and make sure that the information on the daily note goes to the right note? One disadvantage of this is that suddenly information can pop up two places (the note itself and the daily note), but this is a minor thing.
