Project Management: Meeting notes and agenda items (by ethereum)

  • After Berlin, the next Eth1 upgrade (codenamed London) is tentatively scheduled for mid-2021 and should, all going well, include EIP-1559. London timings are currently being spitballed.

  • EIPs

    The Ethereum Improvement Proposal repository

  • More info on EIP-1559 can be found on the official GitHub page here. If you would like to support EIP-1559 consider visiting (and sharing) SupportEIP1559.org - a website made by r/EthFinance resident u/InsideTheSimulation. If you are active on social media, express your opinions on social media sites and/or send out a tweet! If you are an ETH 2.0 validator, consider changing your graffiti tag to #SupportEIP1559! If you are an ETH 1.0 miner, consider switching to a pool that has endorsed EIP-1559 - currently that is only F2Pool. (Tweet Here)

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • baseline

The Baseline Protocol is an open source initiative that combines advances in cryptography, messaging, and distributed ledger technology to enable confidential and complex coordination between enterprises while keeping data in systems of record. This repo serves as the main repo for the Baseline Protocol, containing core packages, examples, and reference implementations.

  • The problem is that this model doesn't scale. Business would eventually have to connect to far too many private blockchains and it turns into a nightmare to manage. It is far easier to join a common public blockchain and transact privately. E.g. along the lines of baseline from EY.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
