If it can you can do so but better use cloudflare tunnel, tailscale or selfhosted gateway and connect from any device. * Again use the above mentioned vpn based solutions to access it securely. If you have domain name point it to their Ip that is for example tailscale assigned IP * Both are same. Desktop kit just gives you case,keyboard and mouse. Remember to get hdmi cable and adapter if its not there. * If you can ssd is the best choice but its better if you have case designed to hold them both or else I hope the surface you place it on has enough space to hold them both. * Again tailscale or above solution will allow you and others to connect and upload. Since they dont want it to be complicated you can install another software like projectsend or some options listed here. And you can point it to same folder where photoprism files are stored so what they upload is directly read by photoprism
