  • obsidian-pandoc

Pandoc document export plugin for Obsidian (https://obsidian.md)

  • There is a plugin called Obsidian Pandoc that you could try out.

  • obsidian-citation-plugin

Obsidian plugin which integrates your academic reference manager with the Obsidian editor. Search your references from within Obsidian and automatically create and reference literature notes for papers and books.

  • I've used Obsidian for writing a few papers, inserting citations from Zotero using the Citations plugin. (I also have a macOS Automator script that lets me insert Zotero citations into any text field in any application.) When I'm ready to export the document, I drag the markdown file to a menu bar application called DocDown, which generates a Word document according to a specified style template and automatically processes the references using the Zotero database.
