I went to my mycrypto.com. Although you can run it off line and generate a wallet I do not see how you do this by entering your own private key. It simply generates the private key for me which is something I do not want. I know they were instances in the past where this type of software was compromised and generated predetermined private keys So I’d rather just do it much more safely and easily by rolling dice to generate a truly random private key which I know is safe.. Is there a way for me to put my own randomly generated private key into mycrypto.com to get the public key? This really doesn’t seem like it should be so complicated to generate a truly safe wallet if there’s ever going to be adoption by more than a few percent of the general public to hold more than pocket change.
