  • I definitely agree that 5 days is far on the aggressive side of things, but we generally identify the updates that aren't likely to break us using Renovate's merge confidence data (example in this PR - https://github.com/renovatebot/renovate/pull/17512) and merge those quickly with relatively low effort spent. For minor / major updates or patches that are more likely to break something we tend to wait around a month.
