    • Option 3 - have some sort of shortcut that launches the application on the server, but displays the GUI on the desktop - A possibility may be something like RemoteApp Tool, which uses RPD, but only runs a specific app. This would allow the GUI to be running on your desktop, but the program will be running on the server. Disclaimer... I just google this - I've never used it. There may be performance penalties for a graphics-intensive application like CAD.
