Benefits/disadvantages of Guix System in general and over NixOS?

I'm using Nix for Pycharm, the only userspace configuration I had to setup is just setting some variables in my .profile and I took it from the Nix manual, I believe. It should be pretty painless after that.

Now that I think about it, is Anbox and Darling supported on Guix? I have no idea if it is on NixOS, but some of my more torturous plans involve linking together a few folders and applications between devices using something like Syncthing, and well, Darling is just pretty cool I think.

If some version of package is missing you can use channels ( like nonguix ) to host your own package definition, but you'll have to build that package on your machine.
