USBHelperLauncher
USBHelperLauncher restores and enhances Wii U USB Helper functionality by patching it at runtime and intercepting its network requests.
Wii U Helper is the definition of asshole design. - Terrible installation process (https://wiki.agilly1989.xyz/books/wiiu/page/usbhelper-usbhelperlauncher) - It doesn't simply download it performs a lot of patching and other stuff under the hood. - It's abandonware (last reviewed 3 years ago https://github.com/FailedShack/USBHelperInstaller) - You don't download an .iso or a single rom file, you download a folder with garbage files that needs more processing. - They pretty much created a monopoly and screwed any interest for archivist from the get go.
I would prefer to download via linux because that's what's on my fastest line and has the most disk space. I set up FunKiiU without issue and it looks like the list of tickets/keys from http://vault.titlekeys.ovh/ has about 3539 titles. Is that the best list to use?
USB Helper was the most user-friendly way to get Wii U games off Nintendo's servers, if poorly put together. So I started tinkering with a way to get around the lock that prevented the use of the program, which culminated into USBHelperLauncher which most people use when they talk about USB Helper.
