Does anyone have any idea on how run Minecraft through a socks proxy with mods? All I found online was an old mod for 1.18 on fabric. I want to run it in 1.19, and I have tried to use ssh port fowarding and have tried to run Minecraft through proxychains - both are not working. I am running MacOS and wish to not spend money - not to use proxifier and similar. Here is the mod in question: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/proxy-server It is open source. NOTE: I have also discovered that the answer to this question on most websites, to run Java with some specified flags, does not work due to netty (A Java library made for networking) ignoring these flags and directly connecting anyways when sending player data. Any solutions? I also want to try updating the 1.19 mod myself, but currently running it with 1.19 throws exceptions for missing libraries, (specifically io.netty.handler.proxy.Socks5ProxyHandler), and the dependancies are all messed up, and I don't know how to code with fabric. (The source code may as well be deprecated because of large gaps in updates.) Can someone with experience help in this matter?
