    HomeKit support for the impatient.

  • After installing Raspberry Pi to a SD card and "full-upgrade" applied plus installing Homebridge there doesn't seem to be any problem with the updating routine. I didn't take it any further due to the fact I don't run any Apple (iOS) products here, so I doubt there is anything amiss in the Raspberry Pi OS updating system. My gut reaction is there is a problem with Homebridge/Homekit. As mentioned before, it probably would be wiser to ask your questions in the Homebridge and/or Homekit web page FAQ and support communities or the sub-reddits available here (https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeKit/ https://www.reddit.com/r/homebridge ). There is also https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge/wiki/Basic-Troubleshooting available. Re: taskbar, the term "panel" is quite frequently used in linux OS's though after right clicking on the Raspberry Pi OS taskbar it would seem they included both terms (though with not the same cogitations and considering it's too bloody hot here and I am feeling extremely lazy I can't be bother to google what they deem to be the difference between the two.....and to be honest, I don't care at all for that matter!) lol ;-)
