I run the nextjs as a a component and found it much easier for live previews on PR branches and such for approvals. It’s also MUCH more efficient on cost and easier to scale. I follow a general deploy->cache invalidate workflow in github actions. I don’t recommend hosting frontends in kube 99% of the time.
