Jagex has explicitly vetted RuneLite for use to play OSRS so that non-devs and devs alike can trust it. The safest way forward for you personally is to only use on-board plugins or those vetted on the Plugin Hub. Every plugin there is trusted by the RL devs, who are in turn trusted by Jagex itself. You should also not activate multiple new plugins at once, test them out individually for a bit so that if you encounter these kinds of issues in the future, you know what plugin is causing the issue and don't have to reinstall RuneLite entirely.
