I personally use SWAG which is "real nginx", just made easier to setup, including Certbot for SSL certs. There are templates for many popular self-hosted applications, but these are just nginx config files that can be modified to do anything. It made learning how to use nginx really intuitive, since I had to modify some of the configs to run other applications and sites.
