after kindaVim that adds Vim moves to any UI element on macOS, here's my second app: Wooshy. reach those UI elements through searching the whole macOS UI.

  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • vimac

    Productive macOS keyboard-driven navigation

  • Is this similar to vimac?

  • kindaVim.docs

    Ultimate Vim Mode for macOS

  • kindaVim is definitely more specific. smaller niche. and it's a lifetime project. to get Vim moves accurate under macOS, including the Visual moves, i can't use a Vim backend. so basically the moves (there's a billion to do...) are handcrafted one by one, using macOS APIs (also, there's cases where text is readable/writable, cases were not. so actually it's several Vim engines. anyways). you can have a look at what it does here: https://kindavim.app

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • VimMode.spoon

Adds vim keybindings to all OS X inputs

  • there's some free solutions out there like Karabiner-Elements(https://karabiner-elements.pqrs.org) (but doesn't manipulate/calculate text, just key mapping) and VimMode.spoon (https://github.com/dbalatero/VimMode.spoon). if you don't wanna bother with setting those up there's also one-time payment stuff, that are basically wrappers around Karabiner Elements.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
