InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
Easily. That's the common approach nowadays - running TrueNAS as a VM on an all-in-one machine instead of going for a dedicated NAS. Remember that TrueNAS is based on ZFS and it needs direct access to drives to ensure data integrity so you need to passthrough drives or HBA to TrueNAS. Another options is StarWinds SAN and NAS which supports hardware RAID, ZFS and MDADM if I'm not mistaken: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/free-san-and-nas. Another option is OMV which consumes minimum resources: https://www.openmediavault.org/
