Much later, I finally had everything needed theoretically to do just that, and I started searching for a way to map the controls to my wheel. What I found blew away every expectations I had. Ikt is a genius GTA 5 modder who developed the Manual Transmission mod, which adds full support for wheel and pedals, but also (as the name suggests) a complete manual transmission system for each car, so that even a H-pattern shifter can be used in a realistic way.
