Formatting using LSP deleting marks?

I'm using marks.nvim to show marks in the gutter, and every time I format using lua vim.lsp.buf.format(), all my marks get deleted. Is there any way to prevent this or is just a bug?

I've noticed it on sumneko_lua, but it also happens just using formatter.nvim with stylua. Also, formatting with either (LSP or an outside binary) also removes all diagnostic gutter symbols until I make another edit
