    • So I am trying to host what's called a 'booru', a type of imageboard where images are given tags to help organize content. The specific booru software I'm using is called shimmie2, which is written in PHP. I have been testing it out on my local computer by running it on a PHP built-in web server. I'm aware that this isn't how web servers are hosted, which is why I'm here. I am a total noob when it comes to web hosting, so I want to be absolutely sure on what I'm doing before I make anything public.
