I liked ruthless launcher which is luncher3 looking and has quiet a few features like app hiding app locking icon shapes and many more. But recent updates made it glitchy . Its not open source either . only thing I can find is https://github.com/shubhchan/Ruthless-Translation probably i didn't look hard enough . anyways is there any launcher that has features like this one . and I couldn't find anything like this on fdroid. Those are still old school simple launchers.
I started using Olauncher's Clutter Free fork and it's working great.
