  • ETH-Staking-Service-22Cap-Signaling

  • crypto-fees

Website for comparing total daily fees of various blockchain protocols.

  • L1s must issue enough native tokens to convince validators to operate. Solana for example issues $4.6 million worth of tokens per day (https://moneyprinter.info/) which is the cost to the network of security. At the same time users spend only around $15 thousand in fees per day (https://cryptofees.info/). The only reason that this appears sustainable at the moment is that the project is subsidized by the VC investors. If it was allowed to run unassisted you can see this would not work. The only way to avoid excessive inflation would be to increase the fees by around 300x.
