Eth killers like Cardano, Polkadot, Cosmos don't even reach 0.1% of Ethereum's fees.

It's understandable. We're in the home stretch of a multi-month effort to reduce staking client dominance. You can see the results of this effort at clientdiversity.org. I can't fault anyone for confusing the two efforts. The current effort is to encourage staking service providers to limit the validators under their control, by public statements, and/or increased public information campaigns. It's a lot for anyone to keep up with.
