aggregator
Websocket client which subscribes and processes data from the Census Streaming Service, passing it to the PS2Alerts API via RabbitMQ.
Us as developers (if you can call me that with the limited public development I do) have had to repeatedly work on ways around issues to the point where we indeed scrape stuff from the game. This data gets put into a GitHub repo which we also use as a central collection for other tools and even mirror some Census data so it doesn't get lost whenever issues occur.
Oshur data - we had no choice but to scrape the data from the PTS game client and jury-rig a "response" from Census in all applications which use maps or do things with facilities
Connections to worlds continue to get randomly dropped - we have to implement some form of health checks in our applications to detect if we stop getting events from a server as we just randomly stop getting data for a server
A big part of that was [writing API wrappers](https://github.com/leonhard-s/auraxium) that take care of most of the undocumented quirks the API has in store for its developers, as well as [updating](https://github.com/leonhard-s/auraxium/wiki/Census-API-Primer) the original API docs and [extending them](https://ps2-api-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/openapi.html).
