Bash script for temporary stopping running BOINC tasks, if CPU temperature reaches user-defined threshold

InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
I've also posted a $10 bountysource bounty on #1378. That would be a great feature to have in the core. In the past I've always used CPU % usage as a proxy for temperature control. I don't care how much CPU is used, I just don't want to fry my hardware. I suspect others feel the same.
Also just realized that someone on one of those thread mentioned this simple bash script which pauses BOINC for 5 minutes if temperatures get too high. Could write something similar to it for your use case and pull ambient temps from somewhere instead of system temperatures
