If you are into this kind of things, there is an easy way to redirect any twitter link to nitter, but you need a web server: Just setup your web server to accept requests from twitter.com host and redirect them to nitter.net. Use a self-signed HTTPS certificate. Then, modify the hosts file of your computer to redirect twitter.com to your own web server. Finally, accept the self-signed certificate, and each time you follow a twitter.com link it will be redirected to nitter.net.
